Greetings Princeton Elementary Parents and Community,

It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as principal this year! Before becoming principal, I had many leadership experiences, including special education teacher, curriculum coordinator, special education lead teacher, and an assistant principal in the Atlanta Public School District. Even with these unique experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. I also have 16 years of classroom teaching experience in Metro Atlanta Schools. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a Master’s of Education in Special Education from Clark Atlanta University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from George Washington University, an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to exemplify to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.

It is my privilege to lead Princeton Elementary and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at Princeton that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential.

I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community!

In Service for All,

Dr. Massey-Hunter, Assistant Principal

Greeting Princeton Elementary School Stakeholders,

Welcome to Princeton Elementary School! I am truly honored to serve the students, teachers and community as the Assistant Principal for 1st, 3rd, and  4th grades. This is my 27th year in the educational field. I served as a paraprofessional for one year, teacher for seven, and I have been an assistant principal for the past 19 years. During my time as an assistant principal, I have had the opportunity to work at both a Title I and Non-Title I school so I have experience with various student populations.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance (Business) from The University of Georgia. Additionally, I have a Master’s of Education, Specialist of Education and Doctorate of Educational Leadership all from Mercer University.  I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.  When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, watching movies, and traveling.

I believe setting high expectations will ensure that every child reaches his or her fullest potential. My goal is to provide every student with a quality education by working diligently with all stakeholders to meet each child’s individual needs. Communication and collaboration are essential components in addressing students’ academic strengths and weaknesses. I am very excited about all of the wonderful things that are going on within our instructional program as we continue to SOAR to new heights at Princeton.

Respectfully Yours,

Dr. Massey-Hunter

Assistant Principal
