Princeton Elementary is strategically located on 10.25 acres in east DeKalb with a spectacular view of Stone Mountain in the horizon. The entire building is 101,822 square feet with 56 classrooms to serve students. Our building with filled with highly qualified staff who care for children and implement the best teaching strategies possible.

Creating a STEM Culture: Our students are encouraged to utilize the Engineering by Design problem solving approach to solve a real world problems each month. Students incorporate skills from all subject areas such as Reading, Math, Writing Science and Social Studies combined.
Our classrooms are filled with 21st century technology.
Math Lab Students in Kindergarten -5th grade rotate through our hands on Math Lab. Students play interactive math games and participate in math critical thinking skills to solve real world problems by thinking like Mathematicians!
Computer Labs: Students in Kindergarten-5th grade are able to explore, research, create and design using 21st century technology and web 2.0. tools.!
Science Lab: Students from K-5 attend Science Lab & learn the unit standards through hands on experiments and other activities throughout the year.
Teacher offer science talk with the students & seek higher level thinking in the conversation which promotes the STEM Culture.
