Dr. Angela Hairston

Dear Princeton Elementary Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to Princeton Elementary School for the 2018-2019 school year. As the principal of Princeton, it is my pleasure and honor to assist our students in excelling to a higher academic level. Along with the administrative team, teachers and staff, we are looking forward to an exciting and informative school year for our students. During the summer, I hope the students were able to recharge their minds and prepare themselves for a year of new adventures with our highly qualified educators. We take pride in doing what is best for all of our students. Our parents should know that our teachers work tirelessly to make sure that every child is receiving the best possible education.

As we prepare for this school year, we look to our parents, community leaders, and volunteers to assist us by ensuring that our students come prepared, remain motivated, and give their very best each and every day. This school year, to assist with accurate teacher/parent communication effectiveness, we will continue to ask each parent to make sure their child(ren) have an agenda planner. All parents of Princeton Elementary are asked to use this agenda to assist their children in writing assignments, documenting important dates, and increasing parent/teacher communication.

Thank you parents for supporting our vision of having all students in school uniforms. On the first day of school we had 635 out of 694 students in school uniforms! Awesome job parents!!! We are rewarding classes and students for wearing their uniforms daily. We ask that you continue to support us throughout the entire school year. The school uniforms allow students to focus on their academics and be seen as one entire student body. We would like for everyone to come on board with us by having your children in uniforms daily

I am very excited about all of the wonderful things that are going on within our instructional program.

Parents, and/or guardians, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding your child’s academic progress.
